Today, we had the privilege of hosting an insightful discussion on *Predicaments of Knowledge: Decolonisation and Deracialisation in Universities* by the incredible Suren Pillay. Joined by Victoria Collis-Buthelezi and moderated by Sarah Nuttall, the conversation was a powerful exploration of what it truly means to decolonize and deracialize our universities.

Through Suren’s profound reflections, we delved into the layered challenges facing South African institutions post-apartheid: the distinctions between Africanisation, decolonisation, and deracialisation, and how addressing each individually is essential for meaningful transformation.
